1. Nas

Rapper Nasir Jones, better known as Nas, has decided to pass on the rap throne to other, younger talents. After releasing his 2012 album Life is Good, Nas began focusing on investing instead of rapping. Through his company Queensbridge Venture Partners, the rapper has invited in startups companies like LANDR, a cloud-based audio post-production tool.
Reportedly, Nas’ company invests $100,000 to $500,000 per company, with an average of 20 companies annually. What’s more, some of those companies have grown exponentially since he invested in them, like Dropbox and Lyft. Furthermore, Nas also owns a clothing company named HSTRY. No wonder his net worth sits pretty at $70 million!
