Friends fans will never let the ’90s sitcom die! Now, Ulta Beauty has developed a limited edition Friends makeup line! Want to get your hands on it? Well, better hurry! Ulta’s Friends cosmetics set is selling out quickly!
Bringing Friends To Life
Ulta’s fantastic Revolution x Friends will make any Friends fan’s day. This cruelty-free makeup line has an extensive array of colors, all named after Friends’ characters or moments. Meanwhile, each piece comes in at under $25.00, so all the lipsticks, eyeshadows, and the likes are incredibly affordable. Especially compared to the other things Ulta sells!
All in all, the limited edition Friends makeup kit includes eyeshadow palettes, lipsticks, and lip glosses, a pack of scrunchies to tie the hair with or wear on wrists, two makeup bags, and a cool hand mirror. Meanwhile, additional eye care products and shadows were made for each character, based on their style and usual look.
“We looked at each character in detail — what they wear, their mannerisms, the makeup they use, the personalities — and started to build from there,” said Revolution Beauty founder Adam Minto. “The products take on the life of each character in a really immersive way.”
A Friends Makeup For Everyone!
Friends characters Rachel, Monica, and Phoebe each have a creamy lipstick and a lip gloss dedicated to them, with each coming in a wide range of shades. As for the boys, Joey, Chandler, and Ross’s lip glosses are mostly natural and have pink vibes to them, ranging from soft to bright fuchsia. Revolution didn’t forget the fans of their eyeshadow palettes and created four different palettes! Rachel, Monica, and Phoebe once again have a palette, each named after them.
For those who wanted a bigger pop of color, the Makeup Revolution presented an extra big product with 27 shades! While the smaller ones have funky names that only Friends fans will understand, like “Smelly Cat,” “Lobster,” and “Science Boy.”
Almost Sold Out!
Some products are still available on the website, and some are waiting for the restock, but Friends fans have been quick at picking out their favorites since the makeup line debuted. Just two days after the makeup line launched on September 14, many of the products had already sold out. Thankfully, most shadow palettes and lip glosses are still up for sale! Fans who missed out can sign up for notifications for when other items get a restock on Ulta’s website.
For those wondering, its actually not the first time in recent history that a major brand has collaborated with the Friends‘ creators. In case you missed it, Balenciaga once made a coat that looked quite inspired by character Joey’s famous airline scheme. Meanwhile, in 2019, Ralph Lauren released a collection of clothes based on the style of the Friends characters. Finally, a Friends reunion will take place next year on HBO’s streaming service, HBO Max. It looks like the ’90s have returned!
