The Who, The Who Sell Out

If you’re not familiar with The Who’s third album The Who Sell Out, its hilarious cover below tells you basically everything you need to know. The band’s first concept album, it featured fake radio jingles and commercials for items like pimple cream and baked beans between the songs.

However, its hilarious cover and interesting tracklist are not the only things that sets The Who Sell Out from other Who vinyl records. You see, the first 1,000 of the pressings of it contained a poster inside of a multi-colored butterfly. Apparently, that multi-colored butterfly is a real monkey-maker; it recently sold for $1,100 on eBay!
