Modern Family star Sofia Vergara and husband Joe Manganiello are investing their millions into a brand new mansion in Beverly Park. Take a step inside…
Long History
As the highest-paid woman on television, with $300 million in yearly salary, Vergara could easily afford any mansion she wanted. Plus, adding on Manganiello’s net worth, it is no wonder they settled on a real piece of luxury in Beverly Park, in northern Los Angeles. Previously owned by the likes of baseball star Barry Bonds and actress Diana Chen, this house is a real piece of Hollywood history. Chen, who picked it up for $30 million, gave it to Vergara and Manganiello at a massive discount, $26 million. Hey, real estate’s not for everyone!
Built back in 1999, the 2-acre property has three buildings: the main house, the guest house, and the cabana. The main house, with its six bedrooms and whopping ten bathrooms, takes up just a dash over 17,000 square feet. Driving up to the house, its nearly impossible to actually see it, as it’s behind a large wall. After all, Vergara and Manganiello are known for their privacy. Just behind the wall are two motor courts that can each house four cars- talk about ready to party! There are also olive trees and fountains, giving everything a particularly Italian vibe. Of course, then comes the main house…
Fabulous Design
Stepping inside the celebrity mansion, there are limestone floors throughout the home matches with antique chandeliers and silk carpets. Without a doubt, this is one of the most luxurious celebrity mansions of all time. Like many of the classic Tinseltown homes, the house has an Art Deco theme throughout. However, in a more interesting design, all the downstairs rooms are actually connected through a central living room. This includes the kitchen, which is really a piece of art in and of itself. It’s pastel lavender cabinets resonate perfectly with the marble-top island in the middle.
Meanwhile, all you fitness lovers out there would absolutely drool over the home; ‘s massive gym. No staying out of shape during coronavirus for Vergara and Manganiello. Plus, not only is the gym large, but it also has sunlight peeking through the windows and echoing around the room, thanks to the mirrored wall. Stepping outside, there’s also a hot tub, a large pool to dive in, and even a tennis court!
Before moving into the new Beverly Park mansion, the celebrity couple stayed in Vergara’s Beverly Hills Home. The actress got it in 2014 for $10.5 million before marrying Manganiello. Not that they’ve been enjoying the married life for some time, its no wonder that they’ve decided to move to something a little bit bigger.
